Q: How should I use my new products?
A: We recommend starting slowly with a new skincare regimen. See “How to Use” on the product website page for specific instructions.
Q: What skin type is your brand best for?
A: While NassifMD Dermaceuticals™ formulates and tests each product for use on a wide variety of skin types, every individual’s skin is unique in terms of type and health and may also be affected by allergies, hormonal balance, medications, supplements, and other health and environmental factors, all of which can contribute to varying, even unique, reactions to products or specific ingredients. This means that a similar skin type may have different reactions to the same product. We recommend you read the ingredients carefully and perform a small patch test before wider use.

Q: Are your products safe for pregnant women?
A: Here is a common list of ingredients to avoid during pregnancy. Of course, the concentration matters, but generally speaking, virtually all of our products are okay to use except Detox Pads (due to the Salicylic Acids, which is partly one of the reasons we created the Gentle Formula, made with our own fruit complex).
Benzoyl Peroxide, Fragrances derived from harmful chemicals, BPA, Hydroquinone Formaldehyde, Parabens, Phthalates, Retinoids (retin-A), Salicylic Acid, Thioglycolic Acid, Chemical Sunscreens, Botulinum Toxin, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Diazolidinyl Urea, Stearic Acid.
Also, our retinol derivatives are considered safe. Lastly, our product fragrances are derived from essential oils/plant oils (not harmful chemicals). Even with all of this said, we highly suggest and caution that while pregnant, it is best to test patch new products first as you may develop sensitivities during pregnancy (that didn’t exist pre-pregnancy and that may go away post-pregnancy).

Q: I have sensitive skin/gluten allergies, are your products safe?
A: Yes! Our entire line is paraben-free, mineral oil-free, vegan, and gluten-free.
Q: I’m a vegan, can I use your products?
A: Yes! Our entire line is vegan.
Q: Is your brand eco-friendly?
A: Yes! All of our packaging is recyclable. Our products are proudly made in the USA to reduce our carbon footprint in overseas transportation emissions. Also, our ingredients are sustainably sourced.
Q: Do your products contain fragrance?
A: Some products do have fragrance. Parfum/fragrances that are added are either to improve the scent of the raw materials, which can be off-putting and / or to add to the sensorial experience of using our line. Many of our products including Detox Pads and Hydro-Screen Serum feature scents our customers absolutely love. These are not the same scents as one may find in regular perfumes. They are in fact, derived from natural ingredients like citrus peels, and are completely within the parameters of the strict EU Cosmetic Regulations relative to fragrances and allergens.
Q: What product(s) is best for treating acne and acne scars?
A: We recommend starting out with our Detox Pads and Dawn to Dusk Facial Cleanser. After some time, we recommend then starting to incorporate our Overnight Masque and / or the Night Therapy Serum. An exfoliation process would really help fade acne scars, especially the discoloration of newer ones. The Ethyl Ascorbic Acid in so many of the products would help, as would the Retinol or Sytenol A.
Q: What is the difference between HydroScreen and HydroGel Serums?
A: Hydro-Gel is a lightweight hydration serum with a proprietary combination of Hyaluronic Acid and Salicylic Acid that improves skin texture, tone and brightness thru gentle exfoliation while balancing excess oil resulting in a natural radiance.
Hydro-Screen is an advanced technology hybrid serum that both hydrates & moisturizes thru its protective retinol molecular film fluid & ceramides, resulting in a supple, youthful glow.
Note: Hydro-screen is always the last step in your skincare regimen because of its advanced hybrid technology (hydration & moisturization) and can be layered over Hydro-Gel.
